The demand for childrens toys has without a doubt become quite a bit higher in the last decade or two. The popular toys are often determined by the number of commercials seen on television or other outlets of media. There are several must-have toys for kids; these toys vary between the age and gender of the child.

Toys that are created with infants in mind are often learning associated. Bright primary colours and happy music often dominate the must-have toys for this age range. From learning laptops to handheld learning devices, there is the genre of toys that arguable comes out on top. There are e-readers designed specifically to help a child learn to read. While on the pricier side, these toys are without a doubt a must-have toy for many children. Electronic toys often have a large selection of game cartridges providing hours of fun.

Building blocks, such as Lego, and dolls, such as Barbie, have been popular with older elementary kids for decades. These items provide hours of fun. Items such as these often come in many styles and variation, ensuring a perfect fit for each child. These items are often less expensive than electronic toys.
